Like memories of special events in your life, I try to capture the essence of feeling of that moment in time, and if for even the briefest moment, I can awake emotions or memories that connect the viewer to the art, I consider myself successful as an artist. Each piece I create is built on the experiences of the last, a continuous exploration of methods and materials. You may never become rich in this field, and you may never become well known, but there is nothing quite like giving life to an idea. |
