ALICE KIDD
Alice Kidd was born and raised in London, England, where she studied Art and design at Middlesex University. In 1992 she joined
"X-act" studios in Wiesbaden, Germany, where she developed her style of abstracting natural forms. Series completed during this time include "Nepalese Landscapes", "Fertile Forms" "Cacti" and "Love Trees". In Germany, Alice studied German Language and Literature at the Goethe Institute, Frankfurt.
It was love that brought her to the United States in 1996. Since then, Alice's time has been focused on raising two girls, Skye and Aspen, as well as pursuing a career in Midwifery. Besides various mural commissions over the last few years, most of her artwork has been in the form of finger painting or potato printing! Her goal is to re-establish a painting studio in the somewhat near future.
