MILLICENT MENG
Since 1990 I have worked as a professional artist. I have been involved in numerous artistic endeavors, both public and private. In private homes my work includes over 100 murals and decorative painting projects, as well as fine art on canvas and paper. For businesses and public spaces I have designed and painted murals, decorative surfaces, worked on grant art projects with children, interactive public sculptures, and professional illustrations. While living in Dallas, I was asked to restore a Pegasus Statue. The Pegasus is Dallas’ symbol, as the Bear is Lake Tahoe’s. This was quite an honor and the Pegasus I painted as a peacock, stands proudly at the entrance to a prestigious private school, where the school’s real life peacocks roam freely on campus. I look forward to the opportunity to paint a Bear for Lake Tahoe.
