JAYME PETERSON AND GANTT MILLERWe have collaborated on numerous creative endeavors for the past three years. While both teaching our content areas, Spanish and History, we also taught art and art history to middle school students. Some of our works together include numerous mosaics, large in size, ranging in complexity and materials. This upcoming summer, we are planning our biggest creative escapade yet: our wedding.In college, we both took art classes and our works in photography, charcoal, acrylic, watercolor, and other mediums have individually been displayed in several venues. Our most recent collaborative project was a 50- foot long mosaic portraying various recreational and experiential activities of the client’s family.. Having been to Chicago during the time of the “Cows on Parade” display, we are excited about the possibility of bringing that same energy and spirit to South Lake Tahoe. This summer, when our families and friends converge on Tahoe to celebrate our wedding, we would love to direct them to visit the bear that we created.
