LOU A. WOLGASTMy name is Lou Wolgast. I am thirty-four years old and I currently live in my home of ten years, South Lake Tahoe. I have had limited art schooling in my birthplace of New Jersey and Tucson, AZ. I have honed most my talent and skills through self-teaching and always enjoy challenges.Most of my artwork consists of science fiction and fantasy paintings and illustrations. Though I have been commissioned for several murals, landscape, and tattoo designs. Some of my work can be seen at Turn 3 “Peanut Bar”, “Off The Hook” sushi bar and St. Theresa’s catholic school. Currently, I am working on a body of watercolor paintings for exhibit and a graphic novel. Future plans include a series of sculpture pieces and a website devoted to my work, providing full-color prints and some t-shirts designs. I look forward to possibly working on the “Bears by the Lake” project. |
