Trendy clubs and partyin’ pubs at Stateline

The chic and sophisticated Opal Ultra Lounge in MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa takes nightlife to a whole new level in South Shore. South Lake Tahoe’s only true Hookah lounge showcases internationally known DJs and top local DJ talent. Floor-to-ceiling curtains, a mahogany dance floor, overstuffed furniture and sultry red hues create an ambiance enhanced by fire dancers and weekly lingerie fashion shows. Opal offers an impressive martini, sake, wine and champagne list served by bar chefs.

blu Nightclub, also in MontBleu, is fast becoming Tahoe’s hottest nightclub. It exudes a high-octane energy level with the latest technology in lights, sights, and award-winning sounds by renowned DJs, plus tantalizing go-go dancers and body painting.

The elegant ultra lounge Cliché, in Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, is a stylish cocktail lounge and cigar bar. It features distinctive selections of wines from around the world, fine Cognacs, champagnes, designer cocktails, and the best cigars. A state-of-the-art air evacuation system keeps aromatic vapors moving up and out of the lounge, making Cliché an inviting venue for non-smokers as well. A knowledgeable staff creates cigar and cocktail pairings. A singular martini menu appeals to the connoisseur.

Also at Harrah’s, VEX is a nightclub not-to-be-missed. An expanded dance floor, VIP booths, cabanas, and plush furniture all around create an enticing atmosphere while go-go dancers strut on tracts high above the crowd.

Bar 24 Tap Room and Grill at Bill’s Casino is located on the “strip” and offers an alternative to traditional casino nightlife. Locals and visitors like the laid-back atmosphere with beer pong and pool then release their “inner tiger” in the “cage” next to the dance floor. Good bar food compliments 24 beers on tap. Bar 24 features live entertainment on Thursdays, ladies drink free from 10 p.m. to midnight on Fridays, and a DJ/dance party that rocks the room on Friday and Saturday nights.
